Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

You'll need to pay the first month's rent and your security deposit to secure the lease. Please confirm these amounts with us in advance of the lease signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will provide all initial information about your move-in date and the first inspection when you sign the lease.

Utilities

Please be sure to place all utility accounts for your rental in your name immediately following the lease signing. Failure to promptly change the account information may result in temporary outages; remember, you are responsible for keeping your accounts current throughout the duration of your stay.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

If you're planning to move out of your rental home, please refer to your lease to determine your official move-out date. We ask you to please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises.

Property Condition

Before moving out of your rental, you'll need to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

Rental Cleaning: Carefully clean every room in the property, removing all personal belongings and trash from the premises. Make sure you vacuum/sweep/mop every floor, wipe down hard surfaces, and sanitize cooking areas and the bathroom(s).

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you routinely address outdoor landscaping chores for your property, be sure to take care of these once more before vacating the premises.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please make every effort to repair such damages. This include patching nail and screw holes.

Security Deposit

After moving out of your rental home, our team will conduct a final inspection of your property. If we identify any new damage, we will schedule repairs and use your deposit to cover the expenses associated with such repairs.

Please remember, you cannot use your deposit to cover your last rent bill. Failure to pay your bill on time may result in adverse credit reporting and legal action.
